Hello, this is thethingexe… I’m still a high school student and I call Melbourne (Australia) home. I’m also sort of the admin around here, so I do the crap in the back like hosting, design, etc. Of course, I’ll blog and do reviews and all that, but my bandwidth is quite limiting so I’ll probably not do too many anime series, but more manga and other stuff.

About how I got into the whole anime thing, it would have started since birth. Growing up in China, I started out watching stuff like Transformers, Doraemon, Ranma 1/2 and my favourite, Crayon Shin-chan. I still have the VCRs of the animes my parents taped for me as I was still a kid. Just thinking about it now makes me want to look through my cupboard or wherever they are now.

Anyway, I’ll reminisce later. I hope you guys like what I write, I might rant a bit and like to flamebait, but you’ll just have to deal with it. For the record, I dislike more things than I like, particularly anime and other forms of entertainment, like movies. I probably think too much about it, or I’ve read the manga and set my standards too high, etc. Regardless, I’ll do my best to blog well…
