Fairy Tail - Chapter 80 “Jeanne D’Arc”

Yay, new Fairy Tail is out. And today in a double page special, without the lazy taking a week off crap.
This chapters going more in depth about Erza and more explains about her past. Which means all that stuff about Jeral will be cleared up soon enough.

Summary:
So Natsu, Lucy, Grey and Jubia make their way out of the underground cavern. They realise that the door was magically open and someone is constantly watching them. They continue on and find Erza beating up some guards.
Erza tells them to leave because it is her problem. Natsu runs off to rescue Happy. Erza still tells everyone to leave, and starts crying =0. She says that whether she wins or loses, she has to die. And because of that she wants to tell everyone everything.
Basically what was said last chapter plus a bit more, the tower is also known as the R system, and Erza and her old friends used to be slaves that worked for the cult there. Anyway, after Erza was taken away, Jeral came slaying three guards to save her. Then he got caught and Erza went back all battered and bruised.
But Erza remembers Jeral’s last words to her, which were “We have to fight”. So she goes whoop ass to the guards around her, and was going to save Jeral and escape. But when she got to Jeral, something had changed and he had become evil.
Thoughts:
Pretty interesting chapter, but the explaination was sort of long implied, as in the good to evil Jeral thing. But anyway, I wonder why Erza will disappear whether she wins or loses? Does her life depend on the existance of the tower? The R system?
Also I wonder if the council has followed through with the Etherion plan. But anyway, I can see the next few chapters will probably be the match up fights. Natsu vs Squareface, Jubia vs Tanky dude, Lucy vs Cat girl, Grey vs Crazy guy? and Erza vs Jeral?
Anyway, can’t wait. This is quality manga.
