The newest chapter of Fairy Tail is out, and wow, it has got me thinking. I’m sort of confused now.
It sort of has been confirmed the Jeral in Erza’s past is Sieglein. But now Sieglein is somewhere else. And another Jeral is in the Tower of Paradise… Doppelganger?
Besides all that, this is sort of a build up chapter, and the cover confirms it too. Next chapter will have more pages and colour spreads, so it’s going to be important!

Summary:
It starts off with Happy waking up in a room filled with cat-related everything. It’s Miria’s room (the cat girl).
Simon comes in and tells everyone that Erza has escaped, but not to run away, but to kill Jeral. Jeral is seen laughing.
At the council HQ, Sieglein is really active, wanting to use the council’s most powerful weapon, the Etherion, to destroy the Tower of Paradise. Which is like a particle uplink cannon, satallite death-from-above. Everyone else is sort of hesitant.
Back at the tower, Erza is ripping up shit. Jubia gets Natsu and Co into the tower underwater, and they fight some fodders too. A door opens for them, it seems Jeral wants them to come towards him, it is like a “game”. Apparently, the tower can’t be stopped.
It ends with Sieglein shouting for more votes.
Thoughts:
Wow, I’m actually really excited for the next chapter. But Fairy Tail sort of just does that to you.
So like i said earlier. We all know that the Jeral in the past, is the Sieglein now. They have the same face and everything. Except right now, Sieglein is at the council place, and another Jeral is at the tower. And this other Jeral hasn’t shown his face yet. You can’t see Jeral’s old tattoo. So what’s going on?
So here’s what I think… If Sieglein is a good guy. Then the Jeral at the tower is a fake, he plans to use the R system, to do something, pretending to be Jeral for some reason. Sieglein knows he isn’t the real Jeral and wants to do something about it. Doubt this…
If Sieglein is bad, then Sieglein plans to use the Etherion to somehow power up the tower, make the R system even better? And the Jeral at the tower is just a helper… Doubt this…
Another one could be the Jeral at the tower is actually good, and is trying to foil Sieglein’s evil plans, to do with the year 777 and all the other important stuff in Fairy Tail. Really doubt this…
So essentially, I still don’t have a real clue what’s going on. But it seems that Sieglein isn’t really that bad a person, at least in the past. And the fake Jeral does seem evil.
Lastly, Mashima specifically brought up Luxus for a reason a while ago. So maybe he is somehow connected as well.
