As usual, the new Fairy Tail is out before the other weekly shounens. It is the start of a new arc, and it’s also a double chapter… sort of.
It has some nice art this chapter, and as you can see from the cover, it is going to be Erza based. It’s sort of a mini costume change chapter, with people wearing some different stuff.
And as with every week, I must stress to all the non-readers… READ! =D

Summary:
It starts off with Loki revealing to the rest of Fairy Tail that he is a Stellar Spirit. He is quite infacuated with Lucy. Before Loki goes back the Stellar Spirit World, he gives Lucy, Erza, Gray, Natsu and Happy tickets to a fancy beachside hotel.
They get there, play a lot of beach games, etc. Gray goes skinny dipping and Jubia stares. Back at the hotel, Erza sleeps, but has a nightmare about her past, in which a little girl in chains is about to be whipped.
Just then, Lucy picks her up to go gambling with the rest of the guys, and they do. Jubia finally confronts Gray and she speaks of wanting to join Fairy Tail. Just then, Natsu gets pinned to the floor by a square shaped man and a gun put into his mouth. Jubia gets pimp slapped and is out cold, Gray turns to see a hulking Arabian or Indian with a metal jaw. Both asking for Erza.
Lucy meanwhile is with Erza winning money, playing poker. Then the dealer gets swapped over and he asked them to play a game but betting with their lives. The dealer (who is dark with blond Goku hair) looks up and calls Erza neesan. A shocked Erza and confused Lucy fill the final frame.
Thoughts:
The new arc started fast! Already the trouble has come and Natsu and crew have a lot they need to deal with.
It is nice to learn about Erza’s past, the arc seems promising. Also if these people are looking to kill Erza they must be hell of a lot strong. I am really anticipating the next chapter.
As for things that shocked me… Jubia got slapped hard! It didn’t look like she would be getting up for long. Never though Mashima would like do that… But anyway… Jubia! D=
Also, Gray commenting on the view of his “lol” was quite a laugh.
