Spice and Wolf – Episode 6 “Wolf and Silent Farewell”

Wow, definitely a different episode. A lot more action and good animations. A lot of raw emotional stuff… Yeah

And for a merchant, Lawrence does in face kick ass. You also get to see full Horo form.

I think after this episode, the series is going to calm down a bit. As though this episode marks the end of the this arc.

Summary:
So Horo and Lawrence are still in the sewers, hiding from Chloe & Co.

But it turns out that they have been found and so they take evasive actions! Lawrence and Horo basically take any turn that doesn’t have bad guys but still get to beat some up on the way. Too bad for Lawrence, he gets stabbed in the arm… But the stabber gets a boot in the crotch.

Horo and Lawrence eventually reach a deadend and are cornered by the baddies and Chloe. Lawrence who as succumbed to his injuries can’t really do much so Horo takes the last resort, transforming to her real form. She drinks some of Lawrence’s blood and bang. Painful action.

When all the baddies are down, Lawrence is shitting his pants. Horo decides to leave, but Lawrence works up the courage to complain about the expensive clothes that Horo just tore up. Horo hesitates, but leaves anyway… Lawrence loses consciousness.

When Lawrence comes to, he is in a bed and his wound is bandaged. Marhait is there and tells Lawrence that Horo saved him then just left without a word. Lawrence is sad, but asks about the negotiations. Which turned out to not go too well, but Medioh got to get friendly with Milone after some rights selling.

Just then, Lawrence gets an invoice. It is for 140 coins, including things such as new clothes, shoes, a comb and large quantities of apples. Lawrence jumps out of bed and races to the exit, where he finds a cloaked women on a carriage. It’s Horo! Lawrence remakes his deal with Horo, and Horo says she’ll pay him back once they reach the North. They shake hands and Marhait ends with, “Wolf and Spice, huh?”

ahhh! character swap! horo is suppose to be the naked one!

Thoughts:
Definitely a good episode. What can I say, there was some action and lots of character development.

So good in fact, I took screencaps like 50x more than I have actually posted, I had some really good ones I had to leave out cause they didn’t fit =[.

I don’t think there has been an episode that comes to this one, and there won’t be any in the future either. Not as in how good it is, but as in the action, etc. that occured in the episode.

Seeing full Horo for the first time is pretty cool too.

From the preview, looks like the next episode is less serious and has drunk Horo again! Yay.
